Eight days on Solovki Islands
The 1st day
Meeting with the guide at the pier or at the airport.
Transfer by bus to the hotel, check-in and lunch in the hotel.
Walking tour around the monastery, excursion "History and architecture
of the Solovki monastery", visit of the churches and the monuments
included to "The List of the world heritage of UNESCO".
Excursion "Reference and conclusion on Solovki", attendance
of the first in USSR complex historical exposition of the Solovki
State Museum Reserve devoted to GULAG system.
Dinner in the hotel.
The 2nd day
Breakfast in the hotel.
Bus excursion "The Monuments of the Solovki minor-monasteries:
Savatievo, Isakovo, Sekirnaya Mountain". Cloister monastery
on Sekirnaya Mountain with the Assumption Church and the highest
lighthouse of the White Sea. During camp times SLON's IV department
- penalty isolator - was located there. Under the northwestern slope
the Memorable cross to killed prisoners was erected by patriarch
Aleksey II in 1992. In Savatievo - the place of the first settling
of Savatii and Herman - political prisoners (anarchists, socialists,
Mensheviks) of the camp were contained. In 1923 Savatievo became
the first place of mass shooting in the camp, and up to 1937 - the
largest camp department. Excursion will be finished by the visit
of the former Isakovo minor-monastery - the center of timber cuttings
in SLON, and the place, where holy Herman lived and worked according
to the legend. In 1925-1928 the imprisoned Catholics accomplished
their services in the Herman's Chapel.
Picnic by campfire on the shore of a lake or late lunch in the restaurant.

The 3rd day
Breakfast in the hotel. 
Boat trip across the unique internal sea of Solovki archipelago
- Long Lip - to Big Muksalma Island. Sea walk among the islands
of the Long Lip, where the prisoners dealt with breeding fur animals,
will finish by the inspection of Solovki miracle - the bridge-dam
across the strait Iron Gates. Excursion to Sergey's minor-monastery
- the III department of the Camp, where camp's agricultural and
iodine-production services were located.
Late lunch in the hotel. Spare time.

The 4th day
Early breakfast in the hotel. Journey to Anzer Island - 3 hour sea
transfer to one of the most mysterious islands of Solovki archipelago.
On a way to the boat you'll learn, why Solovki monastery stands
precisely at this place and what Russia's first railroad to "anywhere"
was. The labyrinth of islands of the Long lip will amaze you with
a variety of flora and paints. The minor-monastery, standing at
the top of Golgotha Mountain will be a reference point in the journey.
The visit to Golgotha minor-monastery will give answers to questions
how the prophecy about Golgotha had come true, how many prisoners
can be placed in the Revival Church and what does the inscription
on the wall of the cells house "loss into the uncertainty"
mean.
After à picnic on coast of a sea bay - an easy twenty-minute
walk through three climatic zones to mysterious labyrinths, where
there will be only you, sea, birds and seals.

The 5th day
Breakfast in the hotel.
3 hour sea tour to the Big Zayatsky Island. Visiting of the first
in Russia stone harbor of XVI century, St. Andrei's Church erected
in 1702 by Peter I. The history of ancient stone labyrinths of III-II
millennium B.C. and archeological researches, conducted by prisoners;
of female isolator and the penalty missions, which have become the
prototype of the Hitler's "camps of destruction".

The 6th day
Breakfast in the hotel.
Walking tour around Solovki settlement. Inspection of the monuments
of the camp period: barracks, cloister-camp graveyard. Visit of
the territory of the former Brick plant in (1,5 km from the monastery)
and the large building of prison - the only NKVD building on Solovki.
Story about, how SLON (camp) was converted into STON (prison).
The end of GULAG system on Solovki.

Dinner in the hotel.
The 7th day
Breakfast in the hotel.
Visiting of a Sunday liturgy in one of the churches of Solovki monastery.
Participation in Religious procession.
Lunch in the hotel.
Visit of Cross-cutting workshop. Acquaintance with the tradition
of cutting and installation of memorable crosses on the White Sea
coast.
Dinner in the hotel.
The 8th day
Breakfast in the hotel. Check-out time.
Walk to the coast of the White Sea to the Negotiation stone and
to the stone "Solovki Power".
Lunch in the hotel.
Transfer by bus to the airport or to the pier. Departure from Solovki.
